The Wilhelm Road Culvert Replacement Project includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace two existing culverts on Wilhelm Road with a structural plate aluminum box culvert. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. Bids will be awarded at the regular Donegal Township meeting held at 7:00 PM on Thursday February 10, 2022. Donegal Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the Wilhelm Road Culvert Replacement Project. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by Donegal Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract. The work which the Contractor is required to perform under this Contract shall be commenced at the time stipulated by the Owner and shall be fully completed within sixty (60) calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
