For furnishing all labor, materials and equipment: a. To mow designated areas of school sites as listed b. Weedeat and/or Trim all areas mowed c. Edge sidewalks d. Trim designated areas so large, brush hog mower can be used by District Staff e. Blow off or re- move grass clippings from sidewalks, drives or other concrete/asphalt surfaces f. Separate quotes for brush hogging at select school properties. Note: By City Code, no grass clippings will be allowed in city streets or roadways. Proposals will be opened and reviewed by the Operations Office to determined completeness and to recommend award of the project. Mowing, Trimming and Edging will commence when the winning contractor receives the notice to proceed.The notice to proceed is granted when all insurances are submitted and approved by the District's Attorney. The timeline for this project is March 21st 2022 to November 1, 2021, or when grass ceases to grow, or as determined by the District. The Owner reserves the right to waive any formalities, and the right to reject any or all quotes. No contractor may withdraw his/her quote within 30 days after the date of the quote opening. The contractor must sign the quote and submit it on his/her letterhead. Attention of the contractors is particularly called to insurance requirements in the specifications, which must be filed with the Board of Education. All applicable city, state and federal requirements must be met by the quote proposal and adhered to if the successful bidder obtains the project.
