The City of Fort Collins is requesting proposals from qualified Contractors to provide General Contractor Services related to design/preconstruction support and construction services for the Safe Water Action Program (SWAP). Contractor services for this program may include design and preconstruction support as well as construction services that may include: cost estimation, risk assessment, constructability review, investigation (potholing) of water service line material, and construction of water service line replacements. Firm qualifications will generally include experience installing water distribution sytems and appurtenances, knowledgeable about working in constrained urban environments and working for municipalities, and experience with alternative project delivery methods.
