The sale area includes all or portions of the following, all situated in Yamhill County, Oregon: Township 2 South - Range 6 West - Portions of Section-33 It is estimated that within the marked sale boundaries of the clear-cut sale area and the salvage areas there is 1,408-MBF (net) of Douglas-fir, 7-MBF of Noble Fir, and 436-MBF of Western Hemlock designated for sale and available for logging under the terms of the contract.This is a recovery timber sale. Buyer will be responsible for the total amount of dollars obtained by multiplying the bid price per thousand board feet by the volume recovered. The normal operating season for this sale is May 1 to September 30, 2022. All other requirements imposed on the buyer must be complete by December 31, 2022 Each party intending to submit a bid must do so on a form and deliver the bid along with a certified or cashier's check in the sum of $25,000 made payable to the "Water and Light Department, City of McMinnville", Oregon. The deposit of the successful bidder will be retained if the successful bidder is unable or refuses to enter into the timber sale contract. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept the bid that is in the best interests of the McMinnville Water and Light Department and to make such decision as the Water and Light Department considers appropriate in the case of identical bids.
