Scope of Work The County desires to hire Contractor to provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies to remove and replace existing overhead roll up doors and windows with hurricane impact resistance products at three (3) Bay County Fire Stations. Fire Station locations are as follows: 1) Fire Station #1 2913 Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach, FL 32408; 2) Fire Station #9 13010 Highway 77, Panama City, FL 32409, and 3) Fire Station #11 11771 Highway 231, Youngstown, FL 32466 The Bay County Board of County Commissioners is seeking Bids from Qualified Glass & Door Contractors, General Contractors or Building Contractors for the hardening of three (3) Bay County Fire Stations. The Scope of work is to remove and replace existing overhead roll up doors and windows with hurricane impact resistance products. Design and installation shall be designed to meet current local, state, and national building codes, Bay County is requiring all new materials meet 165 MPH winds. Note: Respondents shall attend the pre-bid meeting. Any Respondent who fails to attend will be deemed non-responsive and automatically disqualified from further consideration. The purpose of this meeting is to familiarize respondents with the project and answer questions. All Respondents must be present and signed in prior to the start of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting. The convener of the meeting will collect the sign in sheet(s) and the meeting will "Officially" start. Anyone not signed in at the "Official" start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to propose on the project. Please allow 10 to 15 minutes to sign in prior to the start of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting. In the event that any discussions or questions at the pre-bid meeting or afterward require additional clarification the COUNTY will issue a written summary of questions and answers as an addendum to this Invitation to Bid.
