Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Malone, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The Franklin County Manager's Office herein called the Owner, invites the submission of sealed bids for the construction work involved with the above listed project. The project is being bid as a single prime contract: General Construction:Scope of the project is to remove and dispose of the existing condemned structure located at 6 Pearl Street, Malone NY. This is a 3 story building with a basement that shares a party wall with an existing to remain structure. As part of the project the existing party wall shall become an exterior wall and shall receive new insulation exterior finish. Modifications to the roofing edge at this party wall shall be required.An asbestos survey could not be completed, and it should be assumed that all building materials are asbestos containing. The demolition of the building shall be completed with all friable asbestos in place per NYS DOL Site-Specific Variance that has been prepared by the engineer. All tipping fees will be paid for by Franklin County. There will be no pre-bid walkthrough. Any bid may be withdrawn without prejudice prior to the official bid opening time or any publicized postponement thereof. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding.
