(CHP) is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for General Contracting and Construction Management services for development or rehabilitation of three affordable housing projects in Fairfield County Connecticut and funded through DOH, CHFA and FHLBB AHP. Connecticut Housing Partners is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and small, minority and woman owned businesses are encouraged to apply Locations-195-211 Main Street, Monroe CT 235 W Main St, Stamford, CT 80-140 Yale Street, Bridgeport, CT 195-211 MAIN STREET, MONROE CT - NEW CONSTRUCTION The new building will be a 48,654 square foot, three-story, wood framed structure containing 49 one-bedroom units designed for independent living. The building was design in the traditional New England vernacular to tie into the traditional architecture within the town. The parking lot will be accessed by a driveway that comes up from Main Street (RT 25) along the eastern front of the building. The parking lot will provide 59 parking spaces (1.2 spaces per unit), including five accessible parking spaces. A diesel fueled emergency generator will be provided as well. The site storm retention and sewer systems will be located beneath the parking lot structure PARKSIDE GABLES, STAMFORD CT - REHABILITATION The scope of work for the rehabilitation of Parkside Gables will focus on improving the energy efficiency of the building (building envelope and heating plant), enhancing quality of life features of the property (e.g. upgrading landscaping, repaving parking areas etc.), and unit interior improvements (painting, flooring, renovated kitchens and baths) to support an active and engaged group of residents and maintain the long term affordability of the property. Temporarily relocation of households during renovation work may be required. YALE STREET COMMONS, BRIDGEPORT CT - REHABILITATION The scope of work for the rehabilitation of Yale Street Commons is similar to that of Parkside Gables in that it will will focus on improving the energy efficiency of the building (building envelope and heating plant), enhancing quality of life features of the property (e.g. upgrading landscaping, repaving parking areas etc.), and unit interior improvements (painting, flooring, renovated kitchens and baths) to support an active and engaged group of residents and maintain the long term affordability of the property.
