The City of Greer is seeking bids for close proximity fireworks for the City's Freedom Blast.The purpose of this bid request is to obtain from qualified interested offerors a sealed bid provided to the City of Greer, "City", for the Close Proximity Fireworks at City of Greer's "Freedom Blast". The scope of services is as set forth in specifications, Attachment II, which is titled "Fire Works Specifications". For proposed contracts greater than $25,000.00, the offeror awarded the contract must supply a Performance Bond in the amount of 125% of the proposed contract price prior to commencement of the project. The contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible offeror. The City reserves the right to waive any defect, omission, technicality, or informality in any bid which does not materially affect the terms of the bid in response to the Request for Bid, the attached specifications (set forth in Attachment II), and to award the bid in the best interest of the City of Greer The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept portions of bids.The City reserves the right to accept or reject any alternate proposed equipment or service, in whole or in part, and to award the bid in the best interest of the City.The City of Greer reserves the right to inspect and inventory firework products on June 25, 2022, prior to the scheduled display. In the case of insufficient quantity outlined in the winner's bid package, the balance owed the winner will reflect the cost of the omitted product(s).The City of Greer reserves the right to select a company who they feel supplies the best overall fireworks entertainment package with regards to quality, service, safety and performance. These criteria may be based on the current bid solicitation and past performance.
