Description of Deliverables: This construction tender represents the competitive process to award the construction contract to the successful Respondent. The Diagnostic Imaging Redevelopment Project will provide integrated and expanded diagnostic imaging services at the General Hospital and support the Scarborough Health Network as a Regional Level 2 Vascular Centre. The approximately 36,000 sq ft renovation will help to improve service provisions by collocating modalities, improving work processes and performance, and increasing patient and staff satisfaction. The existing shell space located within the lower concourse level of the General Hospital site is the focus of the major diagnostic imaging redevelopment, with a vascular OR renovation to be completed on the 3rd floor. Concourse level construction is expected to be complete in a single phase while the OR component is anticipated to require multiple construction phases. This scope of work will be carried out using a CCDC-2 (2020) Construction Contract.
