As of March 29, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. for a new 184x55 bus barn which consists of (11) bay bus storage with wash bay. The bus barn project consists of a pre-engineered WOOD POLE building and all work within the 5' perimeter of the building. All civil earthwork, mechanical and electrical work outside the 5' perimeter of the will not be part of this bid package. The project consists of a WOOD POLE building, concrete slab on grade, wood stud interior walls, liner panel, electrical work, plumbing work, heating and ventilating, finish carpentry and all other items in the drawing package for a complete building system. The Owner will be performing and coordinating all site related work; building components shall extend 5' outside the building perimeter for connection. Proposals shall be submitted on exact copies of the proposal forms in the specifications and shall be accompanied by a bidder`s bond, certified check, or cashier`s check in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, conditioned that if the contractor`s bid be accepted and the contract awarded within ten days after notice of award will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of his bond and provide a PERFORMANCE & PAYMENT Bond each in the full amount of the BASE BID contract, as required by Minnesota State Statute 574.26, executed and made payable to the OWNER. Make all deposit & expense checks payable to: McGregor School District, ISD. Plans and specifications shall be returned to the Architect within ten (10) days after contract award. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be issued. No plans will be issued after the final addendum has been issued (3 days prior to bid opening). All bids shall be in accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by Lucachick Architecture Inc., Bemidji, Minnesota 56601 and the consultants listed. Bidders must carry Minnesota Worker`s Compensation insurance and conform to all governing laws of the State of Minnesota. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in the discretion of the Owner, the interest of the Owner will be best served thereby. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
