general contract for construction of an approximately 7,160 square foot single story, wood framed, administrative office building. It shall be the duty of each Bidder to submit their bid on or before the hour and date specified. INTERIOR A contract according to the Contract Documents shall be signed prior to work commencing. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier""'s check or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid for all bid schedules (including sales tax). A performance bond, payment bond, and insurance in accordance with the contract documents will be required for the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project per applicable State Law. The Stevens P.U.D. Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in the best interest of the P.U.D. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All bidders are cautioned to be aware of the requirement to have their bids considered responsive.
