Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The contract will be awarded at a Board Meeting of the Park Board of Commissioners on February 24th, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. The scope of work involves furnishing all of the required labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for, or appurtenant to, demolition, repairs and installation of new concessions and bar material in accordance with the plans prepared by Williams Architects dated January 31st, 2022 and any authorized change orders which have been signed by both parties. All proposals must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bank Draft for 10% (ten percent) of the total bid made payable to the Crystal Lake Park District. Each bid shall also include three (3) references of clients for which similar work was performed, listing the name, address and telephone number of the client, a description of the work, and the construction cost. All contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Crystal Lake Park District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities.
