Site work for a water / sewer project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Construction of approximately 1,057 m of land drainage sewers ranging in size from 300 mm to 900 mm by trenchless methods. (b) Connection of the new land drainage sewers to the existing 2,100 mm land drainage sewer at Semple Avenue and Aikins Street. (c) Abandonment of existing catch basin connections to combined sewers. (d) Replacement of existing catch basins and connections to the new land drainage sewers. (e) Surface restorations and related works. Official bid documents must be obtained from Merx and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. If the Contractor fails to achieve Substantial Performance or Total Performance in accordance with the Contract by the days fixed herein for same, the Contractor shall pay the City the following amounts per Working Day for each and every Working Day following the days fixed herein for same during which such failure continues: (a) Substantial Performance - two thousand dollars ($2,000). (b) Total Performance - one thousand dollars ($1,000).
