Renovation of a detention facility in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids to repair the Northcore Building's front steps and porch, which are over an existing mechanical and electrical room in the lower level in the Northcore Building at Mount Pleasant Correctional Facility at 1200 E. Washington St, Mount Pleasant, IA 52641. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America Questions must be submitted by 2:00 pm, June 8, 2023, to the Issuing Officer. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities and to accept a bid that is deemed in the best interest of the State of Iowa.
