Estimate: $33,239,392.85 Project No. ASA21-014-00 Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of the E-54 Sanitary Sewer Project, SAWS Job No. 21-4404. The work under this solicitation will include the installation of approximately 6 miles of 18-inch to 30-inch gravity sewer pipe and force mains in limestone rock via open-cut trenching, tunneling, and jack and bore installation methods. The project is located in the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone on the North side of San Antonio, near Bulverde Road between Loop 1604 and Evans Road. The construction scope of this project includes: 16,116 LF of 30-inch FRP gravity sewer main and tee-base manholes at depths up to 25 feet installed mostly via open-cut trenching and includes 230 LF of two-pass tunneling and 121 LF of jack and bore trenchless construction. 2,574 LF of 20-inch dual force mains (total 5,148 LF) installed mostly via open-cut and includes 1,001 LF of jack and bore trenchless construction. 7,301 LF of 24-inch, 21-inch, and 18-inch gravity sewer main and FRP manholes at depths up to 40 feet installed mostly via open-cut trenching and includes 1,964 LF of two-pass tunneling and 444 LF of jack and bore trenchless crossings. Pipe installation in limestone rock, Downstream tie-in to the SAWS E-4 project near Loop 1604 and upstream tie-ins near the existing SAWS Fossil Ridge, Fox Grove, and Fischer Tract lift stations. TCEQ SCS Plan compliance and a potential for Edward Aquifer sensitive feature mitigation.
