Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to an office development in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a 16,838-square-foot office development; for the renovation of a two-story above grade office development; for site work for a office development; for the demolition of a office development; and for paving for a office development.
The development includes the remodel of 2-story, approximately 16,000 square foot building. Work shall include full interior remodel of space including floors, walls, ceiling, lighting, millwork, and other interior construction to be a co-working office facility. Modifications to the existing building envelope include new windows, doors, a new mechanical system, new roof with insulation to comply with current energy code, and a new outdoor meeting area structure. Contractor's scope of work will also include grading, paving, and drainage for a new parking lot and detention pond. Landscape and irrigation as designed to comply with City of Houston ordinance. The scope includes design, materials, and installation of a complete IT/Data system including but not limited to Electronics, cabling, switch equipment, wireless technology, wireless local area network (LAN), IP telephone system for a fully functional IT data system. This project is partially funded through the use of Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and therefore subject to applicable requirements including, but not limited to, compliance with Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, City of Houston Pay or Play, and Minority Women Owned Small Business Enterprise (MWSBE) programs.
