Renovation of a multi-residential development in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The project consists of one (1) Prime Contract. The contract will include the removal of existing carpet and the installation of the new carpeting in all common areas. Bidders will be required to schedule an appointment with management to go on-site in order to receive the scope of the project and take all necessary measurements. There will be no project packets distributed. Each Bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a Bid Security which shall not be less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Total Base Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond. Bids must include wages paid in accordance to the Davis-Bacon Act. All contractors and subcontractors will be required to adhere to Section - 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended. The Housing Authority of the City of Nanticoke reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of the Bids, without consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Nanticoke.
