The Fiscal Court will evaluate the bids and supporting information and interview bidders as appropriate and select the bid within À fteen (15) days of the bid opening or before unless all bids are rejected. Bidders are required to bid on refuse and bulky waste transport and disposal at a site approved by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The term of the contract will be for a three (3) year period with an option to renew for an ad-ditional three (3) year period, Envelopes containing the bids are to be ad-dressed to Terry Adams.Letcher County Judge Executive, Letcher County Courthouse, 156 Main Street, Suite 107, Whitesburg, Kentucky 41858. The envelopes must be sealed and must clearly show the name and address of the bidder, the date and time of bid opening, and the statement Proposal for Residential and Commercial Solid Waste Transport and Disposal. Bids may be withdrawn up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to opening. The successful bidder will be required to ex-ecute the contract within thirty (30) days after the award of the contract. Letcher County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or information in any bids, negotiate bids as described in instruction to bidders, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with law, deemed in the best interest of Letcher County.
