Renovation of a multi-residential development in Dearborn, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Through this Request for Quote (RFQ), the City of Dearborn (City) is soliciting quotes for the replacement of Apartment Entry Doors at Townsend Towers (7000 Freda Dearborn, MI 48126) and Sisson Manor (1515 Mason, Dearborn, Michigan 48124). Replacement doors will include new welded steel frames, new weather-stripping and threshold, all hardware, closers and new lever-handle lock sets which will accept BEST cores installed. Each new door shall have two (2) peep holes installed at a height of 43" and 64" from the bottom of the door. Hydraulic Closers to be provided and installed with each door unit. Some units may have existing powered door closers installed which will need to be re-attached to the new doors. New closers for these units shall also be provided but not installed. All materials installed must meet current building and fire code requirements per the City of Dearborn Ordinances and Fire Code. All applicable permits and inspections are required and shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Price shall include delivery, installation, removal/haul away of materials, and all labor. Cut sheets for proposed materials (door/frame, lockset, and closer) to be installed must be returned with bids. Submit all quotes to the MITN website. The line item details are listed below.
