2022 Bulkhead Replacement Project- 12th Street and Coral Street - The work under this contract includes the following: Work shall include the removal and disposal of 110 LF timber bulkhead, two (2) storm inlet, storm outfall pipes, asphalt road surface and landscape stone and the installation of 110 LF of new vinyl bulkhead, three (3) Type "A" inlets, 73 LF of 8-inch PVC storm pipe, 16 LF of 18-inch PVC storm pipe, one (1) 8-inch tide valve , 170 SY pavement restoration and 135 SY landscape stone restoration. The Contractor shall provide all other necessary incidental work to complete the project as specified. Prospective Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the job site prior to submission of BID, to familiarize themselves with site conditions. CHECK MUST BE MADE PAYABLE TO BOROUGH OF BEACH HAVEN. If a Fed Ex or UPS Account is not available and they need to be mailed, an additional payment of $30.00 will be required and that check must be made payable to Owen, Little & Associates, Inc. Official documents must be purchased from Owen, Little & Associates for Bid Submission. No downloaded documents will be accepted as we cannot guarantee accuracy. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Borough of Beach Haven hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Borough further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Borough.
