Project Location: 1205 East Pine Street, Deming, New Mexico 88030. Project Description: Project consists of demolition of a portion of a large existing retail building into office space. Approximately 23,300 square feet or interior space plus 4,900 square feet of open air courtyard. Construction of a covered two lane drive through for customer services. Demo of a portion of the existing roof for courtyard. New structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical. New fire sprinkler, fire riser, and fire alarm. Minor existing parking lot modifications and site drainage upgrades. fully complete the Work within 240 calendar days. A. Alternate: Concrete seating in Courtyard. 1. Base Bid: Provide cost for a sloped to drain slab on grade for the area shown on the drawings as tiered concrete seating. Concrete to match specifications and document requirements. 2. Alternate: Provide cost for tiered concrete seating as indicated on Drawing. Provide description of any proposed cost saving construction methods. B. Alternate: 6 foot tall Dinosaur Statue 1. Base Bid: Provide cost for thickened slab on grade, approximate size 12 inch thick by 48 inches square in the area indicating for the statue. Include rebar reinforcing. 2. Alternate: Provide a 6 foot tall Dinosaur replica of a T-Rex statue with footings, mounting plates, bolts, etc. Include electrical and three up light fixtures. C. Alternate: Pneumatic Tube system 1. Base Bid: Provide as shown in the drawings a below ground pneumatic tube system in a concrete culvert. Tubes need to be accessible for repairs. 2. Alternate: Overhead pneumatic tube system. Include cost for cutting the existing masonry wall and flashing. Provide cost for metal structural support of tubing, etc. a complete operating system for 2 stations. D. Alternate: Courtyard Landscaping 1. Base Bid: Provide per the drawings, including irrigation, planting material, and plants. 2. Alternate: Provide three planting area of 4'x4' square for three 36 inch boxed trees. Tree species to be determined, include a number. Provide irrigation, etc. for a complete installation of three trees. E. Alternate: Animal footprints in concrete slab 1. Base Bid: Nothing provided 2. Alternate: Provide cost for painted on paw prints on the existing concrete slab for four animal tracks from the front entrance to the reception desk and also to the exterior doors of the courtyard.
