Time for Completion: Work on this project shall consist of approximately 11 grass cuttings during the growing season and snow/ice removal on sidewalks adjacent to city-owned lots. Snow/ice removal operations shall ensure that all sidewalks are kept clear of snow and ice down to the pavement throughout the year. Grass cutting shall begin on or about May 1, 2022 and continue to September 30, 2022. Snow/ice removal shall begin October 1, 2022 and continue to March 31, 2023. Liquidated Damages see Section 9.0 in the scope of work for City of Milwaukee City-Owned Lot Mowing and Sidewalk Snow and Ice Removal Standards and Bid Specifications. All residency requirements have been waived for this project. The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. The original bid bond document must then be submitted by the contractor to the Department of Public Works Contract Office in-person or by mail to 841 N Broadway, Rm. 506, Milwaukee, WI 53202, immediately upon being notified that they are the apparent low bidder. All Contractors awarded a contract valued at $25,000.00 or more are required to participate in training on the City of Milwaukee's B2GNow contract compliance software within 30 days of the contract award date. Throughout the contract term, Contractors are required to regularly provide timely subcontractor payment information in the City's contract compliance software.
