Renovation of an educational facility in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,102-square-foot educational facility.
Chinook Elementary School Secure Entry at the following Vancouver Public School location: 1900 NW Bliss Rd., Vancouver, WA 98685 - Vancouver Public Schools. Bids will be received as follows: General contract consisting primarily of minor alterations work to the entry vestibule and main office including the removal and replacement of casework, new sliding transaction widow and counter and new door hardware at all front entry and vestibule doors. All work will be under a single contract. Each bid shall include non-collusion acknowledgement and certification of non-segregated facilities. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a Bid bond, certified bank check, or cashier's check executed in favor of the Owner for not less than 5 percent (%) of the base Bid amount, excluding applicable State of Washington taxes. Bid security shall be forfeited as damages should the Bidder neglect or refuse to execute the specified Agreement form and Performance and Payment bonds. This project is considered a Public Works project. Attention of bidders is called to State of Washington statues, regulations and rules pertaining, but not limited to, the following public works projects: non-discrimination in employment and facilities; rates of payment for wages and fringe benefits to workers; employment of excess numbers of workers who are non-residents of the State of Washington; forms of bids; bonds, contracts and certificates; restrictions of lien, taxes and retainage; and barrier-free facilities for the handicapped. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw or modify their quotation after the time set for the receipt of the quotation until after 30 calendar days.
