No bid will be considered unless it is made on a Bid form furnished by the County's Public Works Department (Department) and accompanied by bidder's security in an amount equal to 10% of the amount bid in accordance with the provisions set forth under Section 2, "Bidding," of the Standard Specifications of the State of California Department of Transportation, dated 2018, as modified by the special provisions. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK The work to be performed consists, in general, of constructing the new County Road Yard building and site improvements on Patton Way, including the new building, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation and landscaping, concrete pad, footings, sidewalk, v-gutter, drive approach, curb ramp, curb and gutter, installing parking bumpers, signs, gates, fences, paving hot mix asphalt, painting traffic stripes and pavement markings, relocating signs and mailboxes, reconstructing handrail, removing concrete pad, septic system, parking bumpers, signs, gates, fences, bollards, and asphalt concrete pavement.
