Repair of 1,000,000 Gallon Steel Storage Water Tank and all work incidentals to the project, in accordance with the contract documents, detail plans, and specifications now on file. The proposed work is located within the limits of the City of Somerton, Arizona. The work consists of, but is not limited to removal and replacement of the existing steel roof and rafters, removal and replace of the tank shell top portion, installation of tank cathodic protection, interior coating and exterior painting, and miscellaneous steel floor repairs, tie-ins/modifications/connections to existing piping and existing tank features. The existing tank is an above-ground (on grade) 1.0 MG water storage tank and its nominal dimensions are 32 feet in height and 74 feet in diameter. All work shall be conformed per specifications in the Contract Documents, EPA, OSHA, ADEQ, ANSI/NSF, and AWWA standards. Pursuant to A.R.S. 34-201, the bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or a surety bond - payable to the City of Somerton, Arizona for at least 10% of the total bid price as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract to perform the bid in accordance with the Contract Documents, within 10 days after the Notice of Award. The city will award the contract in compliance with the laws of the State of Arizona, and the Contractor will be required to perform any contract awarded in compliance with all applicable Federal laws, State of Arizona laws and City of Somerton ordinances.
