The City of San Jose's (hereinafter "City") Department of Public Works is looking for a firm (hereinafter "Consultant") to provide owner's advisor services for the Bay Area Rapid Transit ("BART") Silicon Valley Phase II Extension Project and Downtown West ("Projects"). While the Projects as a whole will be constructed by the Valley Transportation Authority ("VTA") and Google, respectively, VTA, Google, and the City will cooperate on the preliminary engineering, final design and construction of those portions of the Projects that will affect City infrastructure. To that end, the City requires additional geotechnical engineering resources to supplement its capability to review project engineering/construction documents. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. As of March 7, 2022, the closing date for this solicitation is March 22, 2022 before 11:00am.
