Demolition and site work for a residential development in Williamsburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

**As of April 7, 2022, this project is already awarded to C.M. Munden Construction with the awarded amount of $108,525.00. Project is already under construction.** The City of Williamsburg Department of Public Works, hereafter known as the City, is seeking Contractors for demolition of structures located at 942 thru 950 Capitol Landing Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185. The Contractor shall furnish labor, materials and equipment to accomplish the following described tasks. 1. Obtain and pay for all necessary permits (i.e. Demolition and Land Disturbance permits) and pay for any additional fees (i.e. hauling and disposal). City permits are not waived, but City permit fees shalbe waived. 2. Develop and submit for review and approval by the City an Asbestos Abatement Work Plan and a Demolition, Removal, and Disposal Plan. 3. Install erosion and sediment control measures as shown on the provided plan. Sanitary sewer connections to the City are to be located, cut and capped at the property line and witness stakes installed. Water service is to be cut at the property side of the meter and the meter boxes remain in place. 4. Demolition, removal, and legal disposal of all above ground structures, asphalt, concrete, signpost with base, brick wall, fencing, identified vegetation, handrails, and bollards within the defined Limits of Disturbance. Footings greater than 3 feet below the surface are to be removed to a depth of 3 feet. All holes and trenches are to be filled with select material and compacted. 5. Grade all disturbed areas to drain as close to existing conditions. Add 4" topsoil, fertilizer, lime and seed to the areas per the Virginia E&SC Handbook. 6. Retain and submit to the City all documentation relevant to the removal and legal disposal of all materials from the site. All inquiries for information should be directed to the office of the Public Works. Written questions related to the project will be accepted up to five (5) business days prior to the closing date; it is the City's discretion to respond to any inquiries beyond this time. Emails are an acceptable form of written documentation. IF BIDS ARE MAILED, SEND DIRECTLY TO ISSUING OFFICE NOTED ABOVE. IF BIDS ARE HAND DELIVERED, DELIVER TO: 401 Lafayette Street Williamsburg Municipal Building 2nd Floor, Public Works Department Williamsburg, VA 23185 In compliance with this Invitation for Bids and to all the conditions imposed therein, the undersigned Offers and Agrees to furnish the goods/services at the Price(s) Indicated In Section VII, Pricing Schedule.
