The City of Boston, by its Public Facilities Department and acting as lead jurisdiction on behalf of the Boston Transportation Department ( BTD ), is pleased to issue this Request for Proposals ( RFP ) for Lafayette Place Garage Parking Management Services, 1 Avenue de Lafayette, Boston, MA. 02111. The Parking Management Services will include, but are not limited to, customer service, operations, maintenance, capital needs assessment, annual budgeting, and reporting. The City of Boston owns and operates this three (3) level, approximately 153,123 square feet parking garage with 1,029 parking spaces. The garage was built in 1980 and is located at 1 Avenue de Lafayette with vehicle access on both Chauncy Street and Avenue de Lafayette and pedestrian access on Washington Street, Chauncy Street and Avenue de Lafayette. The garage is open 24/7, and there is direct access to the Hyatt Hotel valet area adjacent to the garage's lobby and management office. The Hotel has a right to provide its guests with the use of a certain number of spaces in the garage Property for a fee pursuant to agreements and recorded documents. The garage underwent an $8 million renovation in 2015 and is considered to be in above average condition per the most recent appraisal. Respondents are encouraged to submit Proposals for services that meet the BTD's five parking objectives: 1. Best-in-class customer service for residents and visitors; 2. Expert oversight of operations and maintenance to ensure a well run garage operation and the long-term viability of the garage; 3. Increased revenue; 4. Reasonable cost control through rigorous budgeting practices; and 5. Prompt and detailed reporting of the Lafayette Place Parking Garage's performance. Deadline for submitting questions will be extended to March 1, 2022 by 5:00PM Response to questions will be distribute on March 15, 2022 by 5:00PM Top 3 candidates will be notified the week of April 4, 2022 Remote Interviews will be scheduled the week of April 11, 2022 Addenda, means written documents and/or drawings issued prior to the Request for Proposals deadline which correct, modify, explain or interpret the Request for Proposals. Parking Management Services, mean services to be provided by the selected Respondent to the BTD as set out in the scope of services. Service Level Agreements, means the performance standards of Parking Management Services expected by the BTD. Technical Proposal, means non-price sealed proposal submitted separately by the Respondent.
