The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following: Morgan & Parmley, Ltd., Ladysmith, Wisconsin. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Letting is subject to Section 62.15(1) and Section 66.0901, Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, an amount to secure the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
The Contract shall be subject to Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes pertaining to municipal wage scales and Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates. The "American Iron and Steel" requirements must be met. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
We encourage Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women Business Enterprises (WBEs), to submit bid proposals. This project is being funded in part by the WI DNR EIF Program and Community Development Block Grant for Public Facilities (CDBG-PF). No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 60 days after the actual day of the opening thereof. The Contractor shall include a telephone number, FAX number, and e-mail address when requesting plans.
