Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Woodstock, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work to be done by this section shall include all labour, materials, tools, equipment, construction plant, services, and supervision necessary and required to resurface the entire parking lot/driveways (remove by milling (1.5 inches to 2.0 inches ) top layer of the parking lot asphalt, repair cracks (crack sealant) in exposed remaining asphalt top layer, apply tack coat, apply new asphalt layer to reinstate previous levels of removed asphalt, seal coat new asphalt layer, repaint lines (parking spaces, traffic patterns, ADA compliance handicap symbol, walkways, and/or other driveway or parking lot markings), increase number of parking stalls (14 total - see satellite picture above), repair concrete curbs (approximately 150 linear feet), replace parking lot vertical signs, investigate and clean (vacuum) catch basins due to poor drainage, and replace catch basin/manhole damaged grade rings as per specifications and drawings. This Section specifies requirements for furnishing all materials, labour, tools and equipment and performing all operations necessary to complete excavation of all types of material encountered, placing of backfill, disposal of unsuitable and surplus material and furnishing backfill material as specified below, all as shown on the Drawings and as specified in this Section. The work generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following items: 1- Trench excavation and backfilling for backwater valve. 2- Backfilling where required.
