The City of Waynesboro reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time, or to extend the contract for a possible four (4) 1-year renewal terms. Further, the City of Waynesboro will not discriminate against small and minority businesses of faith-based organizations. SCOPE OF SERVICES A. To provide full landscape maintenance services including trimming, cleaning, weeding/spraying, edging, and mulching landscaped areas along Main Street (from Race Avenue to East Avenue) to provide a neat and attractive appearance for the City of Waynesboro property. 1. Summer / Fall (July 1 - October 7, 2022) o Apply approved herbicides as required to keep planted beds weed free (2 applications minimum). o Apply 2-inch layer of approved shredded hardwood mulch before October 7th. 2. Spring 2023 (March 1 - April 15, 2023) o Cut back Panicum (grasses) to ground level. o Cut back Cornus sericea and Salix purpurea to 6 to 12 inches in height. o Cut back Clethra alnifolia and Sprirea alba to 24 inches in height. o Edge beds. o Remove leaves and debris. o Apply a 3-inch layer of approved shredded hardwood mulch before April 15th. 3.
