Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tyrone Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals or to waive irregularities therein, and to accept any Proposals which, in the opinion of the Board, may be most advantageous and to the best interest of the County. This contract will be considered for award on February 22, 2022. Completion Date: September 30, 2022 The undersigned encloses a bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent payable to Kent County Road Commission as a guarantee of good faith. The successful respondent shall furnish the Contracting Board with a Performance Bond in the amount of the Total Contract within seven (5) consecutive days of date of award by said Board before Contract can be executed. Progress schedule, enclosed herein, must be completed and submitted with bid pricing sheet. No work shall begin before May 1, 2022, unless approved by the Engineer This work consists of the Contractor consulting with the representative of the Marquette Rail (herein after called the Railroad) to determine the necessity for, the type of, and cost of protection required for ensuring the safety and continuity of Railroad traffic and payment to the Railroad for protective services when doing work on, above, or below the Railroad property
