Included will be the removal of the existing culvert (two 72aEUR steel riveted pipes), the installation of a pre-cast concrete box culvert and cast in place concrete wingwalls, installation of rip rap at culvert inlet and outlet, erosion and sediment control, landscape restoration, and all associated work. In the event of a delay to the project completion terms as per the Schedule for which Contractor is solely responsible, Contractor shall pay Liquidated Damages to Radnor Township at a rate of $880 per day of delay for every day beyond the 180 days for allowed for project completion. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid is required. Bid security shall be in the form of either a Bond issued by a corporate surety approved by the Secretary of Insurance to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or a certified check or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit issued by a bank licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
