Saving Project...

Renovation of a library in Fort Pierce, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

This will be a complete roof replacement, both the clay barrel tile and flat deck portion of the building, and gutter system. This will include all materials, labor, equipment, engineering and permitting for a 100% completed project. All Bidders are required to submit a five percent (5%) Bid Bond with the Bid Form or their bid shall be rejected as non-responsive. The accepted bidder's security shall be retained until he has executed the agreement and furnished the required payment and performance bonds. Questions received ten (10) days prior to the bid opening will not be answered. All questions shall be e-mailed ciminod@stlucieco.org to the attention of Desiree Cimino. If the County should incur extra costs from this firm due to having to extend the contract time, the County will invoke liquidated damages in the amount of $200.00/per day. Bidders may not withdraw their Bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the bid opening date. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities; reject any and all bids/proposals which are incomplete, conditional, obscure, or which contain additions not allowed for; accept or reject any proposal in whole or in part with or without cause; and accept the proposal which best serves the County.
