Site work for a communication facility in Erin, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
The Houston County E911 Communications District is accepting proposals for a new Public Safety Communications Tower. Bidders will be allowed access to the building on February 22 at 12:30 PM and are welcome to attend. It is the intent of Houston County 911 (911) to obtain bids from qualified vendors to procure and erect a 190' Self Supporting Tower for a new site. The proposed Tower will include antenna mounting. The equipment shelter will be located inside a room within the existing fire station and will be installed by others. The 911 will provide the antennas and coaxes listed and the bidder will run and terminate the coaxes in the equipment room Design, provide, and erect a 190-foot self-supporting tower with waveguide ladder, safety climbing device, and lightning rod. o Provide and install a transmission line bridge (approximately 10') o Install 911 supplied antennas and coaxes, terminating inside the shelter at the port entrance panel. o Upon completion of all work, the entire construction site area shall be left clean and free of trash, debris, mud, dirt, dust, scrap materials, and excess materials. o The Awarded Bidder shall be responsible for providing sanitary facilities at the work site for the duration of the Project. o 911 will not be responsible for any items left unattended on the work site. o 911 will make the site easily accessible for trucks, cranes, or rigs required for this project.
