BASE BID I: Street, drainage, and landscape improvements are proposed for approximately 2200-feet of Edna Avenue from Alicia Drive to Huerta Drive. Construction improvements under this phase of construction include the demolition of concrete, pavement, curb, trees, adjustment to existing vehicular gates, and upgrade of existing street signage. Proposed street improvements will include excavation of roadway and drainage improvements, and the installation of 2" HMAC/8" Base Coarse/8" Select Fill; 6" standard curb and gutter; 4" rolled curb; 4" concrete sidewalk; 6" reinforced concrete driveway; speed table; ADA accessible ramps; and City Monuments. Roadway improvements will also include thermoplastic reflectorized pavement markings and new street sign assemblies. Landscape improvements include Rock mulch w/ weed fabric; minor grading; trees; of 5-gallon shrubs; 1-gallon shrubs; and irrigation system. Storm drainage improvements include concrete flumes; drop inlets; RCP pipe and manholes. Additionally, traffic and pedestrian control barricades, construction sequencing, and stormwater pollution prevention measures are required as part of this base bid Scope of Work. BASE BID II: The Water work for EDNA (EAST) AVENUE - STREET AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS consists of the installation of f 8-lnch C900 PVC (Blue) (Class 305) Pipe, 8-lnch Ductile Iron Pipe (350 psi) , (by open-cut methods), replacement and re-connection of water services, removal and disposal of existing water facilities, temporary by-pass, fire hydrants, fittings, cut in valves and all necessary appurtenances for the completed main or structure, including Trench Safety System. BASE BID III: The Sanitary Sewer work for EDNA (EAST) AVENUE - STREET AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS consists of the installation of 8-lnch PVC SDR-35, temporary by-pass, standard manholes, standard manholes & extra depth, re-connection of sanitary sewer services at the main, and all necessary appurtenances for the completed main or structure, including Trench Safety System.
