Park Enhancement Project This project consists of the repair and resurfacing of an existing parking lot (with minor expansions) and the construction and/or installation of park amenities, including concrete sidewalks/pathways, site lighting, shade canopy structure, grass paver area, park benches, trash receptacles and bike racks. The Base Bid portion of this project consists of Bid items 1-24 and includes, site demolition as needed for proposed improvements, true & leveling of existing parking lot, slight expansion of existing parking lot, installation of concrete work as described in the construction plans, installation of shade canopy structure footings only, grass paver area installation, landscaping, site lighting, bollard installation, park bench and trach receptacle installation. Alternate #1 consists of an ADD for Bid Item # 25 and includes the furnishing and install of the shade structure. Note the footings shall be installed as part of the base bid. Alternate #2 includes an ADD of Bid Item #26 and includes the installation of concrete benches. This alternate reflects the change in price to DEDUCT 10 prefabricated benches (Base Bid #19) to ADD 5 concrete benches. Alternate #3 includes an ADD of Bid Item #27 and includes landscape plantings Perennials and ferns. Alternate #4 includes an ADD of Bid Item #28 and includes landscape plantings- Trees. Alternate #5 includes an ADD of Bid Item #29 and includes repair, power washing, and staining of existing eastern fence. All work obviously necessary for the completion of the Contract shall be included, whether or not specifically shown of specified.
