Lumpkin County Purchasing Department is soliciting sealed statements of qualifications from architectural firms to provide architectural and engineering design services for the construction of a new Animal Shelter. Proposing firms should anticipate a design process that includes a building committee for this project. The design process will require an investment of time by the successful firm to fully program the project prior to producing an approved conceptual design. The statement of qualifications shall include all of the information requested on the attached sheets. You are invited to include any additional information that you think may be helpful to Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners in making their decision. Submittals should be in 8- 1/2 x 11 format. The County will designate an Evaluation Team that will review all statements of qualifications in order to achieve a short list of 3-5 firms that may be approached for an interview. If interviews are necessary, when they are completed, pricing will be requested from the final vendors and a decision will be made, and then a recommendation will be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for a contract.
