The City of Hays is accepting proposals for acquisition of Fueling System for the Hays Regional Airport. This written Request for Proposal (RFP) states the scope of the City of Hays requirements and specifies the general rules for preparing the proposal. The proposal should clearly demonstrate how the firm can best satisfy the requirements of the City of Hays. The City of Hays shall reserve the right to enter an agreement with the firm presenting the proposal that is most advantageous to the City of Hays. The fueling system shall consist of: One (1) 12,000 Gallon UL142 Double Wall Avgas Fueling System and One (1) 20,000 Gallon UL142 Double Wall Jet Fueling System. There shall be separation of 15 feet between the jet offload connection and the head of the jet tank and there shall be separation of 25 feet between the avgas offload connection and the head of the avgas tank. The fueling system shall include all the necessary pumps, valves, and components to provide an operational system in accordance with industry standards for aviation fueling and comply with federal, state and local codes. This is a tax-exempt project. The City of Hays will provide a tax-exempt certificate prior to the contractor beginning work.
