Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wasco, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be done includes, but is not limited to the following: sawcut, demolition, grading, compaction, concrete and other items of or details not mentioned above, that are required by typical construction. The purpose of this Project is to remove and replace the concrete drive approach and surrounding damaged concrete. Questions in writing will be accepted until February 10, 2022. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Proposal form provided by the City of Wasco. Each bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid: (1) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the City of Wasco; (3) a certified check made payable to the City of Wasco; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by an admitted surety insurer, made payable to the City of Wasco. Each bidder must be a licensed contractor as required by law at the time the contract is awarded. . In addition, the successful bidder must furnish: (1) a faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price; and (2) a payment bond (also referred to as a labor and material bond) in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The contractor shall possess a City Business License and a Class "A, B or C12" license at the time this contract is awarded.
