The work consists of installation of sheet rock (gyp) area as specified in plans. To include return air ductwork and return air grilles for the existing two HVAC systems. In addition, remove existing ceiling return air grilles not connected to return air ductwork, provide ceiling tiles as required. Replace and remove damaged ceiling batt insulation. Moreover, provide 12-turbine type roof mounted motor-less gravity ventilators. Uncover all existing roof vents along the perimeter soffit vents. Rebalance Air Handling Units to 2,000 CFM each for a complete working system. Located at 2811 N. Main St. McAllen, TX 78501. Clarification Deadline: 2/11/2022 5:00 PM A Bidder's Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified Cashier's Check, (Bid Security) payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted via a sealed envelope as a guaranty that if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of McAllen. The Bidder's bid security shall be submitted before the above-mentioned electronic bid opening date and time. Failure to submit the bid security shall be grounds for disqualification.
