For the construction of a Transformer oil containment system, outdoor metal-clad switchgear house, and associated equipment.This project consists of furnishing all required mate- rials, supplies, equipment, tools, and plant to perform all necessary labor for the installation of transformer #2 oil containment and switchgear #2. This includes any modifications as may be necessary to bus work, steel, foundations, ground grid, cable raceway, and wiring.This project is not subject to tax-exempt status. The work must be done in accordance with plans and specifications provided by City of Edmond All questions must be submitted using the online bidding system. The last day to submit questions is February 16, 2022. Bids submitted more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening the bids, as well as bids submitted after the time set for receipt of bids, MUST NOT be considered. A cashiers check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must be required of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. The bid bond should be submitted online at the time of online bid submission closing date and time. Each bid submitted is a legal offer and when accepted by the City, consti tutes a FIRM AND BINDING CONTRACT.The City reserves the right to REJECT ANY or ALL BIDS. The Edmond Public Works Authority reserves the unconditional right to cancel all or any portion of this project within thirty (30) days from the date of opening of bids, for any reason and at its sole discretion.
