REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Boone County is accepting Request for Proposals for the following: 03-01MAR22 - Intercom System for Robert L Perry Juvenile Justice Center Request The Robert L. Perry Juvenile Justice Center is a 45-bed locked facility that provides a place of detention for youth 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The detention facility has a central pod area and a monitor station area where all communication between staff and detained youth occurs through an intercom system. This central pod area and monitor station area can also control all the door locking abilities for detention resident rooms and all the door locks in the facility. Detention youth are housed in individual rooms that are locked from the central pod area. There are cameras placed throughout the facility that can be viewed within the central pod area. These same cameras can also be viewed by approved supervisory staff from their office locations If Proposer's total bid price exceed $50,000, the proposal response shall be accompanied by a proposal guaranty equaling 5% of the total amount of the bid. All questions regarding this Request for Proposal should be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in order to allow enough time for the County to issue an Addendum.
