The Cobb County School District (CCSD) is seeking Asbestos Abatement Services on an asneeded basis for various construction projects. Projects will be awarded by the issuance of individual purchase orders and may be awarded to multiple vendors. CCSD will utilize the services of A.C.T. (an Asbestos Consultant Service) to oversee all phases to include but not limited to inspecting, testing, scope of work definition, project monitoring, air clearance, submittal review and approval, as well as CCSD invoicing where applicable. Deadline for written questions and pre-qualification February 23, 2022 @ 3:00 PM Award April, 2022 Questions regarding the proposal should be directed in writing to wendy.bell@cobbk12.org. Only questions received prior to February 23, 2022, shall be considered CCSD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any technicalities or informalities. Bid Surety Bond and Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds must be accompanied by a Certificate of Power of Attorney showing thatthe party who executed the bonds is authorized to do so by the surety company.A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond satisfactory to the Owner may be obtained in the amount of 100% of the project total for individual projects of $100,000 or more and may be required of the successful offeror to guarantee delivery of completed work under the contract and payment for labor and materials. The contact tern is one year. Unless specifically consented to in writing by CCSD, prices must remain firm for a period of one year from the award date, or for any renewal period, under the same terms and conditions as the RFP. The CCSD reserves the option to renew any contract award at its sole discretion. The CCSD reserves the right to accept or reject any part of a submitted proposal, to accept the entire proposal from one vendor, to accept portions of the proposal from several vendors, or to reject all proposals submitted or waive any minor irregularity. The CCSD reserves the right to award the proposal under the most beneficial economic terms for the CCSD.
