Renovation of a residential development in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The East Longmeadow Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Window Replacement Project Phase 2 at the Quarry Hill Elderly Housing 667-3 Development for the East Longmeadow Housing Authority in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Roy S. Brown Architects. The Project consists of: Replacement of existing double hung and casement windows with new vinyl double hung windows. Project scope applicable to buildings 3, 4, and 5 only (see site plan for building locations). All other buildings are not part of this contract. The work is estimated to cost: One hundred sixty-five thousand dollars ($165,000) General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the East Longmeadow Housing Authority. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 10.4% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to DHCD (david.mcclave@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date if the work is estimated to cost less than $500,000 OR 10 calendar days prior to the General Bid date if the work is estimated to cost $500,000 or more NO WAIVERS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE BID DATE.
