Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Moultrie, Georgia. Working plans call for the construction of a 3,600-square-foot transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

The owner has selected a Design Builder. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. Final design and construction of a 3,600 SF single-story terminal building with air-side canopy and landside porte-cochere. The building shall be located near the southeast limits of the existing terminal area parking lot. Associated site work, including any necessary improvements to the existing parking lot, is not included in the scope of work for this project. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Contract A - General Trades: Work generally consists of general construction work, building and area within 5 feet of building perimeter (and as further defined in this section and on the Conceptual Site Plan C-100). 2. Contract B - Sitework (FUTURE): Work includes site preparation; including grubbing, removal of topsoil; and erection of temporary fencing; selective demolition, site grading; site utilities including sanitary, storm, and water service; erosion control and final restoration surfaces including curbing, paving, sidewalk and seeding. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. The Moultrie-Colquitt County Airport Authority, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
