Roof Area(s) - 'A1-A4','B-B1' & 'C1-C4' Location- 14 Union St South Hamilton, MA The Work of the project shall include the removal of the existing EPDM membrane system,flashing, securement and terminations throughout the existing flat roof areas and installation of a new solar ready PVC membrane system, including high density cover board and supplemental polyisocyanurate insulation to meet current energy code requirements, as otherwise specified in the project manual. Steep slope roof areas will be stripped of all existing shingles and underlayments down to, but not including, the existing ventednail base and new under layments and asphalt shingles shall be installed as otherwise specified in the project manual. Prevailing wage rates are required as per M.G.L., Chapter 149, and Section 26 to 27H inclusive and reporting associated thereto. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, a certified check, a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company or cash payment, in the amount of five (5) percent of the submitted bid, as Bid Security. The checks are to be made payable to the Town of Wenham, Massachusetts. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Payment and Performance Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount. No Bidder may withdraw his/her Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date designated above for the opening.Bids for this Contract are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149. The Town of Wenham reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to accept any Bid deemed by them to be in the best interest of the Town of Wenham, and to limit the extent of the work to keep within the limits of available funds.
