Project no-18.0066.021 Town Hill Water Storage Tank Replacement Project. Construction of a 3 million gallon prestressed concrete water storage tank, valve vault and controls building, and demolition of existing 3 million gallon welded steel tank. Work includes installation of appurtenances; valve vault; controls building; associated piping and valving as shown on the Drawings; tank mixing system and appurtenances; and site work including sedimentation and erosion control, excavation, borrow materials, backfill, compaction, final grading, loaming and seeding. Upon completion of the new water storage tank, the existing 2.84 million gallon welded steel water storage tank, controls building and associated equipment will be demolished The Work includes the following major items: a. Construction of one (1) 3 million gallon ANSI/AWWA D110, Type III wire-wound, precast, prestressed concrete water storage tank (WST) with steel diaphragm including excavation for foundation and all concrete floor and foundation work. b. Construction of one (1) new valve vault. c. Furnish and install a precast concrete control building including, but not limited to, foundation, floor, walls, ceiling, anchoring, exterior finishes, lighting system, electrical equipment, HVAC equipment, and all associated appurtenances. d. Tank mixing system and appurtenances. e. Site piping f. Valve appurtenances g. Electrical and instrumentation to support the proposed WST h. Demolition of existing 2.84 million gallon welded steel WST and foundation and existing valve vault.
