Asbestos Abatement for 2022 Renovations at Forreston Jr.Sr. High School, 601 E. Main Street in Forreston, IL 61030. The work is to remove windows with asbestos-containing glazing (approximately 25 windows in 8 openings) from the original 1955 building utilizing NESHAP removal methods; window panes and asbestos-containing glazing (approximately 45 panes) at the Jr High/District Office main entry vestibule and at the southwest vestibule utilizing NESHAP removal methods; base cabinets with transite back panels (approximately 95 square feet) from Classroom 309 under the school O & M program; and flooring materials (approximately 6,065 square feet) from various classrooms and the Jr. High office area utilizing non-friable methods. The Date of Commencement is June 13, 2022. The Date of Substantial Completion is June 24, 2022.
