Renovation of a multi-residential development in Winona, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Project consists of the complete removal and replacement of all metal lap siding and asphalt shing roofing at the addresses above. Scope of work includes but is not limited to, removal and disposal of existing roof and wall coverings including soffit panels and fascia trim; removal of wall sheathing and replacement with OSB panels, evaluation of roof sheathing, furnishment and installation of prefinished wood composite siding and trim including weather barrier, flashings, and trim; furnishment and installation of asphalt shingles including underlayment, ventilation components, flashings, and trim; furnishment and installation of soffit panels and fascia trim. Gutters and downspouts shall be removed and replaced with new. Work shall include all components required for a complete roof and siding system. Deduct alternates shall include gutter guard, additional gable access, and added attic insulation. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total construction bid. Refer to HUD - 5369, Section 9 contained within the Bidding Documents. Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the Bidding Documents must be paid on this project. The Contractors must take affirmative action to ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religious, sex, or national origin. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds, in the penal sum of the full amount of the contract as awarded. The Owner, reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
